Helen Bedford Morse

Helen M. Bedford Morse of Stamford, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Stamford Hospital. She was 74. Born December 25, 1935 in Yonkers, NY she was the daughter of the late John J. and Helen Berezny Misley. Helen worked for the Westchester County Court System for 24 years and retired as Deputy Chief Clerk of the Criminal Court. She was an avid reader of mystery books and loved flowers, particularly roses that were grown at her home.

Helen is survived by her husband William R. Morse, her daughter Helen Marie Redfield, of Norwalk, Williams’s daughter Debra J. Morse Longo of Stamford, her sisters Joan E. Morse of Stamford, and Mary Ann Foley of Port Jefferson Station, NY, 2 nephews and 2 cousins. She was predeceased by her husband’s grandson Christopher Longo.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St. Stamford, CT. A funeral service will be held 11AM on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Funeral Home, interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 66 Woodland Place Stamford, CT.
