Deborah Wargo, a lifetime resident of Stamford, CT, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Deborah was born in Odessa, TX on August 3, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Clifton Holland and Sue LaRusso Holland.
Deb is survived by her husband, Steve Wargo of more than 50 years, her son Steve Wargo Jr. & his wife Katina of Norwalk, CT and her daughter Dawn Wargo of Stamford, CT. She is also survived by her sister, Denise Lepselter of Tennessee and many loving nieces, nephews and grandson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Edward Davis and her sister, Darlene Holland.
She attended Stamford Public Schools and met her husband, Steve and their love story began. After retiring she enjoyed time with her family, gardening and cooking. She was known to create unique pasta dishes which included Mom's special homemade sauce and meatballs for friends and family. She also
loved clipping coupons to pass along to others creating many smiles along the way. She will be dearly missed every second of the day for all her caring qualities as a loving mother, loving wife and cherished friend. Heaven has gained an angel.
No calling hours, services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home.
