Corrine H. Richardson of Greenwich, CT, passed away at the age of 85 at Nathanial Witherell on November 23, 2016. Born in Sidney, Montana in 1931, she was the beloved daughter of Fred and Cora Andersen and sister to Richard Andersen of New York City and Rita (Andersen) Kerzetski of Las Vegas, NV. Corrine grew up in Sidney and graduated from the Evangelical Hospital School of Nursing in Bismarck, ND in 1952. As a Registered Nurse, Corrine moved east joining the Nursing staff and eventually serving as Supervisor of the private Med/Surg floor at Greenwich Hospital. After starting a family, Corrine returned to Nursing in private practice and then as a Health Educator for the Greenwich Health Association. Corrine spent many years volunteering in the Greenwich community facilitating Parkinson’s Disease Support Groups and Meals on Wheels of Greenwich to name a few. In 1982, Corrine was honored as the “Greenwich Time Community Leader of the Year”. Corrine and her husband Tom, Greenwich residents for 60 years, were actively involved in Greenwich town tennis and golf programs as well as long-time members of Innis Arden Golf Club. Corrine was an ardent spectator of her children and grandchildren’s school and club sporting activities. She especially enjoyed brisk walks at Tod’s Point and lunch with her friends. Corrine was predeceased by her husband Tom and daughter Christina (Richardson) Bourke. Surviving are her son Thomas Richardson and his wife Asa of Stamford CT, Christina's husband Dennis Bourke of Ridgewood NJ, his son Timothy Richardson of Greenwich CT and his partner Jayne Carroll of Cave Creek AZ, his daughter Corey Richardson and her wife Kimberly Miller of Henniker NH, his son Kelly Richardson and his husband Ariss Tiu of Stratford CT, as well as six grandchildren, Robert, Corinna and Shelby Bourke of Ridgewood NJ and Dakota, Gryphon and Noah Richardson of Stamford, CT. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 7th 2016 from 5pm to 7pm at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 31 Arch Street Greenwich, CT.
