Bogusia was born October 28, 1950 in Krynki, Poland. Daughter of the late Henryk and Antosia Zaczek.
She was also predeceased by her daughter Kasia, her husband, Zbigniew Kuszewski and her siblings: Zofia, Felix and Stanislaw.
She was the most kind and gentle-hearted woman who cared deeply and enriched the lives of so many. She was a genuine friend to everyone she met.
Bogusia graduated from John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, and Silesian University of Katowice in Poland.
She was a special education teacher who truly loved her job and used her insight into creative ways to best support her students.
Bogusia also had a true love of animals and was passionate about rescuing them.
Bogusia is survived by her loving daughter, Karina and her sister Malgosia with family in Chicago and her dearest cat, Ozzy.
Bogusia’s impact will forever be felt by her family and friends who dearly love her and who will miss her terribly.
Bogusia’s daughter, Karina, wish to thank Dr. Christopher Del Prete and Dr. Tenicki and their outstanding staff at Stamford Hospital, as well as Dr. Grose and his amazing Orthopedic and Anesthesiology Team from Hospital for Special Surgery and her clinician, Parimal Patel, who stood by her side until the end.
A Catholic Mass to celebrate Bogusia’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Holy Name of Jesus Church (4 Pulaski St., Stamford, CT 06902), following private burial.
