Woodrow Wilson Hunt Jr.

Woodrow Wilson Hunt, Jr., age 84, of Stafford, VA passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born on December 20, 1939 in Maryland, the son of the late Woodrow W. and Mary E. (Smith) Wilson. He was retired as and Maintenance Engineer at General Electric in Rockville, MD. He was an avid Baltimore Raven fan. Survivors include his wife, Nancy L. Hunt of Stafford, VA; one son, Stephen Wilson Hunt of Thurmont, MD; five step children, Lacy Thornton, Leona Garcia, Dana Hargrove, Frieda Thornton, Quarter Annie Frank; seven grandchildren, three with close relationships Stephen “Scooter” Hunt and wife Eliza of Thurmont, MD, Jason Hunt, Brandon Hunt both of Frederick, MD and four more Joseph Hunt of Winber, PA, Kanas Hunt of Martinsburg, PA, Nathan Hunt of Waynesboro, PA, Daniel Hunt of Waynesboro, PA; one sister, Myrna Gibson; Nephew, Dennis Thornton of Stafford, VA; 23 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 12:00-1:00pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, VA where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm with Rev. John Hodgen officiating. Burial will follow at Dumfries Cemetery, Dumfries, VA.
