William began his education in Baltimore City Schools but transferred at a young age to Harford County Schools when the family moved to Edgewood. In his early adult life, he served a short term in the military. Shortly afterwards he received his certification in HVAC. He took pride in his job and eventually became a Master Plumber. In 2005, William met the love of his life, Veronica, and they built a life together in Stafford, Virginia.
William was an avid Ravens fan. One of his most favorite pastimes was going to Ravens games, whether near or far. He became a collector of sports memorabilia, pop figures, Hot Wheels, Speed Racer, Star Wars, RC Cars, and much more. He loved to travel. His favorite travel destinations included Aruba and the Bahamas.
William was a devoted father and grandfather, affectionately known as Pop-Pop Jr. Along with his sons, he also raised his two oldest granddaughters. He loved his family and spending time with friends. He had a wealth of friends from childhood through his adult life. He could make friends wherever he was, especially with his unforgettable laugh. He was an amazing man who definitely knew how to talk. He was full of life and showed unconditional love to family and friends. He leaves behind a role that will never be filled and memories that will forever be cherished.
William departed this life suddenly on March 14, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Veronica; two daughters Monique and Lakira; two sons Ethan and Cameron; one step son Damion; two sisters Michelle and Monica; father-in-law Wayne; three brothers-in-law Ben, Keith, and Robert; two sisters-in-law Ann and Stephanee; five granddaughters Tashani, Tionna, Miracle, Tayelynn, and Tyrin; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; cousins; “brothers'' from another mother; and a host of friends and family.
