Susan Ruth Scott, 75, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2024. Born on May 17, 1949, in Washington, D.C., Susan was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her warm heart and generosity to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. As a devoted single mother, Susan cherished her son, Sean and dedicated herself to his happiness and success. She enjoyed a fulfilling 40-year career as a Construction Manager at Giant Food before retiring to focus on her family and her many passions. Susan's home was a haven of love, filled with laughter, crafting supplies, cookies, and countless cherished memories. Her welcoming spirit and kindness made everyone feel special and loved. She is survived by her son, Sean Mulrooney, his wife, Christine, and her adored grandchildren, Donovan, Emily, and Duncan. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sharon and Mary, and her brothers, Paul and George. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Elder Baker, her stepfather, Ronald Baker Sr., her brother, Ronald S. Baker (Ronnie), and her father, Louis Simon Eichinger. Susan’s vibrant and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on September 22, 2024, at noon at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service in Stafford, VA.
