Roscoe L Rhoden

Roscoe Luther Rhoden was born July 5, 1928, to the loving parents of Luther and Addie Rhoden in Birmingham Alabama. He was raised in the Baptist Church. Roscoe is a graduate of Talladega College, Talladega, AL, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology. Roscoe served two consecutive tours in the United States Air Force, culminating in 20 years of honorable service to our nation. He later served as government contractor for the Planning Research Corporation as an Information Systems Analyst for over 32 years.

Roscoe is preceded in death by his parents Luther and Addie Rhoden, and brother Issac Rhoden. He leaves behind 6 children (Rhonda Taylor of Stafford, VA, Brenda Berry of Stafford, VA, Dwight Rhoden of Los Angeles, CA, Sherri Williams, of Woodbridge, VA, Terri Rhoden of Dayton, OH, and Roscoe Rhoden of Pittsburgh, PA); two sons-in-law (Ronald Berry and Ricky Williams); eight grandchildren (Erin Taylor, Ronald Berry II, Alexander Berry, Aliyah Harris, J’Lynn Frank, Austin Harris, Tiara McCallum, and Darius Wright); three great grandchildren (Landyn Lawson, Lenox Lawson, and Kaia Dugan); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish his memory.

A visitation for Roscoe will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A celebration of life will occur Friday, March 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A burial at a later date will occur.
