He is survived by his father, Chester Plummer, Sr. (Bethesda, Md.); two sisters Lorraine Manuel of Largo, Md. and Myra Parris of New York; his brothers Roy Plummer, Sr. of Largo, Md., Stephen Plummer of Washington, D.C., Larry Plummer of Boston Ma., and Gary Plummer of Accokeek, Md; his ex-wife of many years, Michelle Plummer of Williamsburg, Va., and many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind a host of friends, many who have known him for most of his life. Primarily, the Young Family, Joe, his best friend also preceded him in death. Oren and Kevin of Washington, D.C. And many others too numerous to mention.
Wink was a talented dry-wall mechanic, who could make anything look brand new. He was engaged in various contracted activities also, such as plumbing, rough carpentry and flooring. He also served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam Era.
Wink loved his family deeply. They were his pride and joy. He never ceased bragging about them or telling funny stories of his young years. He was always there with a joke, a quick word of encouragement and love for all. He did not believe in keeping anger bottled up and forgave generously. Even in the darkest of moments, he was known to advice others to not "let others rent space in your head."
Always, remember he never lost faith in his God, peace and his ability to convince others that peace was the only way.
