He is survived by his beautiful wife, Alma Wilson; his daughter, Cindy Evernham (Dan); his son, Troy Wilson (Lisa); and his brother, Roger Wilson.
Mr. Wilson will also be greatly missed by his four grandchildren, Jim Heflin (Jenny), Michelle Quinn (Richie), Troy Wilson (Katie), and Kaitlyn Hamilton (Ryan); and his nine great grandchildren, Hailey, Olivia, Everly, Landon, Lorelai, Vivian, Malcolm, Samuel, Jackson, & 2 more precious ones on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Fonnie Wilson, his sister, Betty Lou Wilson and his brothers, Gene Wilson and Edward Wilson.
Riley was born and raised in West Virginia, moved to Virginia, then to Florida.
He enlisted in the US Army at age 18 and served 3 years before being honorably discharged to pursue law enforcement for the next 42 years. He retired with 20 years of service to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Mr. Wilson enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball and football. He was always a “Washington Redskin” fan! And you could usually find him tinkering in his yard. He was very proud of his yard and his home. However, he loved nothing more than his wife, his children and his grandchildren.
