Our memories of Rich are filled with a spirit filled, fun, family man that would make us laugh and help us grow every week at small group.  Those years in small group with you both have stuck with us over the years. I remember meeting at your house one week and sitting out back with the fire pit. He talked about how you guys just loved to hang out out there. I could see it in his face while he talked just how very much he loved his family and how just very much he loved you Madonna! We are praying for the Lord to comfort you and the kids and grandbabies. Rich will be greatly missed on this earth, but he gained the ultimate reward as a good and faithful servant ❤️ Love, hugs and prayers to you and your whole family.  Much love, Kelly and Carl Cook

I remember Michael speaking of Rich often and the conversations they had over the years. He treasured his friendship. My thoughts and prayer are with you as you grieve this sudden loss.

What a wonderful man! He certainly loved Jesus and loved his family. I was blessed to know him and to be a pastor to him. My prayers and love go out to Madonna, Alexis, Brittany, and Caleb and the rest of the family. Your husband and father left a wonderful legacy for Jesus. Much love! And Rich..see you again soon. 

Rich was always jovial and smiling at the office. He was a good leader to his team and an asset to AMSG.  We will miss him!

Rich was a great guy! He loved his God and Savior Jesus Christ. He also loved wife, children snd grandchildren deeply. Rich liked talking about theology and about Jesus. In the past year while he was working away from his church family he frequently posted scripture and words of encouragement on social media to anyone who would read his posts because he believed in salvation and an eternity that we all need to plan for. He loved this country and cared a lot about how our elected officials should represent their constituents who “hired” them. Rich was an all round good guy and he will be missed. We are praying for his beautiful and talented wife Madonna and his grown children Alexis, Brittney and Caleb and their families.

Vernon and I are so incredibly sorry about the loss of Madonna’s husband, Alexis, Brittany, and Caleb’s father, and Annalyn, Leni, and Charles’ PapPap.  We are forever grateful for his care/parenting, with Madonna, in raising our daughter-in-love, Brittany — she is a wonderful wife to our son, Chuck, and mother to our little grand people, Annalyn and Charles.  We do take great comfort in knowing that he is with The Lord!! 

Pastor Bill and Lynna Roberts along with the entire Christ Chapel family extend our deepest condolences to Madonna and family during this difficult time.  While at Christ Chapel many years ago, Richard and his young family served the Lord with joy and enthusiasm.  They were a blessing to many.  Madonna, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers as you navigate through this difficult time.  Love and blessings to all.

Rich was always so kind to my family. Always sweet and quick to strike up small talk when we would see him outside. He was so helpful and gave his time to assist us with yardwork after my husband's injury and surgery. 

I first met richard when i met his family he a sec dad to me we always were laughing joking and talking bout the steelers apparently they have a toilet seat stadium haha.. he was a kind caring man who loved his truck his wife his kids and grandchildren.. annalyn leni charlie. I just had a,conversation with him last week when FaceTime with alexis and he was making fun of the steelers.  Go saints! Ill make sure the toilet stadium has a,good season. He always knew how to make me jump when i would sleepover he would walk up behind me and alexis and I wouldn't see him or he would try and sing and dance at the same time. I will miss you pick on the steelers penguin!!
