He was born in Cleveland Ohio on April 6, 1931, son of the late Warren and Emma Fredericy.
He was a retired USAF Master Sergeant, he served as a carpenter for 21 years with two deployments in Vietnam. He received two accommodations and 13 ribbons and medals, While in the USAF, he met his first wife Simone, who preceded him in his death.
He then went to work for the National Park Service at Prince William Park for 21 years.
After retiring in Stafford County, Va, he became very active in PAL (Pet Assistance League). He was an avid fisherman and used his carpentry skills to create many well crafted projects. He loved to laugh and loved hearing and telling jokes. He enjoyed visiting with all of his extended family. He loved playing the lottery and was very lucky with his tickets.
He is survived by his loving wife Monique, of 28 years; two daughters, Linda Mavilia (and Chip) and Tina Cadena (and Jan); three grandchildren. Melonie Strine (and Buddy) Craig Mavilia (and Cam) Chris Mavilia (and Lisa) and three great grandchildren, Malory, Macy and Evie. Along with two stepdaughters Kathy (and Dan) and Darlene (and Mark), one stepson Ronnie and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers Leonard and Warren and sisters Alice, Eleanor and Daisy preceded him in death.
