She was born on November 11, 1968, in Alexandria, VA to William Earl and Sharyn Dianne (Kiser) Payne.
Lisa Payne lived in Alexandria, Virginia, until moving to Fredericksburg in 2017. She was a kind, vibrant soul who radiated love for her family, friends, and her beloved dog, Lily. Creative at heart, Lisa had a passion for decorating bottles with jewelry, henna and was always finding opportunities to create something beautiful.
She possessed a childlike spirit, enjoying roller coasters and haunted houses, with Halloween being one of her favorite times of the year. Lisa dedicated her time volunteering at haunted houses, always eager to spread joy and thrills to others.
Her bright personality and pure heart made her impossible not to love. Lisa was always ready to brighten someone's day, offering kindness and warmth to everyone she met. Her aspirations and life experiences shaped her into the amazing woman we knew, and her generosity and compassion left an enduring mark on all of us.
Lisa will forever be cherished by her family and friends, and her memory will remain in our hearts. She will always be remembered as the incredible woman she was—a soul full of light, love, and warmth.
Lisa is survived by her parents William and Sharyn Payne; brother: Derrick Payne and wife Brooke; nieces: Leah and Sarah Payne and extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, VA on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM with the family receiving friends from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM.
