Kyle was my Grandson whom I loved more than life itself.  
He was kind,   full of love , with a  
Big Heart & was everyones Best Friend.  
We hold him close in our hearts forever, everyday..

The school year starts in the morning, while your physical body will not be here; the gift of your friendship will walk with those who love you.  This is your Senior year and many will hold to your hand and will do great things because of who you are.

My heart continues to hurt for you all, Mr. & Mrs. Morgan and Sidney. I just pray God is comforting you as only He can.  We always have the question, " why" ?   We need to hold steadfast to God and know He had our plans the moment we came to life.  You can be so proud of the wonderful, young man you raised. He was and will remain loved by many.  I know my Cole is blessed to have met him.  You are continually in my prayers.  





lately ive been missing kyle a little bit more. not seeing him at school was and still is a  adjustment. my prayers are still with his family. kyle was so loved and with forever be missed. 

I'm so sorry for your loss.  Kyle was a really nice person and I really enjoyed when he would come to our class to visit us and he would make us paper airplanes.  I will keep you all in my prayers.

He was such a nice young man and I can still see him in the halls of Mountain View with that giant smile on his face. I am a classmate and good friend of Kyle's. I have known Kyle since before my freshman year. He never fails to amaze me, even in a time like this. I like to think that Kyle has been bringing us sunshine this past week. 

Kyle helped me get through a rough part in my life. He helped me overcome myself and my bad thoughts. He stuck by my side through it all and for that I am eternally thankful. One of my favorite memories with Kyle is, in my opinion, very iconic and obvious considering Kyle IS the Piano Man himself. - Last year, the chorus concert theme was songs from movies. I had no idea I was even going to tryout for anything until one night, while Kyle and I and many other friends were at Evan Hurts house for his birthday party. We were all gathered around the piano, singing and laughing and having the most fun. Kyle started playing Piano Man and my heart jumped a little to be honest. I knew he played piano but I didn't know he was THAT good. Later that night, we talked over a game of ping pong (which we both suck at) and I asked him if he'd teach me how to play piano man. He said no, but he'd help me. So he did. I had almost every part down except for the riff. Three nights before the concert, Kyle called me and we sat on the phone for almost 2 hours as I played the same part over and over until I finally got it. Kyle was both proud and annoyed that it took me so long. I think that, if someone is willing to sit on the phone for 2 hours and listen to a broken record until it's fixed, they are worth keeping. Kyle and I continued to grow our friendship and I will forever play piano man as if he is sitting next to me, smiling and singing. 

I love Kyle dearly. He is one of the most amazing people I've ever met. I can already tell that wherever he is, he's got the most beautiful piano in front of him and the biggest smile on his face. 


Kim & Jimmy- we are so incredibly sorry for your loss. Kyle was such an amazing young man! Although we have many great memories of him at our home the past few years; our fondest memory of him was shortly after we moved here from Hawaii; We experienced our first winter snow! Kyle arrived to our home the following morning in full winter gear- head to toe and had sleds in tow! Maddy & Aiden had only Jeans and winter coats at the time. He took us just down the road to some hills proceeded to teach them how to sled, starting from some baby hills up to one giant hill! They had so much fun! Kyle had Aiden sitting in front of him on the big hill, and was able to pick up a lot of speed- they landed in a ditch (which was covered with snow) and Aiden went flying! We were laughing hysterically! We soon learned the value of waterproof outerwear! They’ve been “hitting the hills”ever since!! He will always be in our memories every time we see snow especially. 

As I read the tributes written for Kyle by family and friends, I am overwhelmed by the knowledge that words chosen today describe Kyle as I knew him ten years ago - kind, gentle, respectful, happy, and fun loving.  How amazing that the child of six grew into such a wonderful young man of sixteen, maintaining those traits.

Kyle was such a happy person. He made you smile no matter what and was always there for you. He played the most beautiful songs on the piano and had so much energy. I’m so glad I got to know such an absolutely amazing person and I hold the memories we share close to my heart. I will never forget all the smiles and laughs he brought.

Kyle was in my English 11 class this semester, clearly well-liked by his fellow students, who were devastated when they learned of his passing, as I'm sure you can imagine. We are truly sorry for your loss. The loss of a child is so heartbreaking. Our hearts ache for your family. Kyle was a wonderful young man and we will miss him terribly. We had the pleasure of Kyle joining us for a weekend at Colonial Beach this past October. I was just looking through pictures and videos of him and my son Hunter tubing and having a blast. Hunter and Kyle always seemed to have so much fun together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time.

Kyle was a great young man. What a terrible loss to the world.  He was full of life and had a huge warm heart.  He and Sidney always loved talking care of my Hannah when we were around. He loved kids.  There are so many great memories. I remember being in the hospital for his birth. He was huge! I guess the fondest memories were made at the lake at my aunt and uncle's house especially when he finally took the leap off my uncle's roof into the lake. He also helped​ my poor hobbling butt finish a 50 mile Trail run by running with me and pushing me the last mile or two.  We pray for Kim Jim and Sidney now to stay strong and for God to comfort them in this most difficult time. 

I met Kyle once when he came to our home to play video games with Dan. After we talked I thought "Gosh, that is exactly the kind of young man I want Danny to hang out with. What a great kid."  I cannot understand why these senseless losses occur and I know every family in the county that I associate with has shed a tear if not hundreds.  I can only pray that in the coming days you are surrounded the light that was his life and lifted by the outpouring of love I know we are all hoping  you feel.  May Kyle rest and rise knowing he was loved by so many.

This is a loss beyond words. Maryanne and I are so sorry for the death of such a young man. I looked at the video of memories with Kyle and it's obvious he will be missed beyond words. Jimmy and Kim, I hope you find the strength necessary to deal with going forward without him.

I remember watching this precious boy grow up next door to me.  Jimmy and Kim, you raised a fine young man. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during your time of loss.  

All my love and continued prayers to the Morgan family. May God comfort you and give you the strength you need during the very difficult time. The world is less beautiful without Kyle in it; however, he will always be with you in spirit as his soul lives on forever.

Kyle was very special to me as a neighbor.  He always took the time to say hello and then we would talk for a few minutes. We played baskball last week, and of course he beat me (like always) 10-4.

My fondest memory was when we were looking at the harvest moon a few years ago....so bright, so beautiful..and Kyle waited until the moon lowered in the sky and he could see it thru the trees.....and then he took the most beautiful picture that was then published in the newspaper the next morning. 
I will always think of Kyle as I gaze at the moon each night.
