John Allan Roy Sr.

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 53 years, Kathleen Roy; His Sons, John Roy Jr. (Wendy), and Jason Roy (Tekisha); his daughters, Jennifer Carpenter (Jeff), and Karen (Keith); his sister, Linda Montgomery (Lee); and his brother, Frederick Roy (Carol –deceased).

John will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Nya, Devin, Keith Jr., Carrie, J.B, Alyssa, Thomas, Maxwell, Josiah, Trinity, Justice, Charity, Jeremiah, Unity, Joshua, Jacob and Eternity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Alice Roy; and his sister, Susan.

John was born and raised in Virginia, he enjoyed it here and never wanted to move anywhere else. After graduating high school he proudly served in the United States Army and then went on to become a Master Electrician. John was a patriotic man who loved his country.

He enjoyed politics, spending time with his family and mastering the Rubik’s cube.
