Mr. Smith was a retired US Marine Corps veteran of 27 years and worked 18 years for TRW/ Northrop Grumman.
He is survived by his loving wife Yoshiko; two sons, Michael Smith and wife, Suzanne of Ashburn and Jimmy Smith and wife, Janelle of Stafford; two grandchildren, Eric and Laura Smith; sister, Betty Brown; brother Donald Smith both of Loganville, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 6, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
