He was born Jan. 20, 1942, and served honorably in the U.S. Army for 21 years. He was a part of the 610 Classic Car Cruisers in Stafford and was known for his contributions to car communities in Fredericksburg and surrounding counties.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Ferguson; stepdaughter Kristina Horvath of Stafford; stepson, Jefferey L. Douglas of Liberty, S.C.; stepdaughter Angela Todd of Jersey Shore, Pa.; son James M. Ferguson of Atlanta; stepson Jody Bragg and companion Sherry Mills of Fredericksburg; brother Fred Ferguson of Malvern, Ark.; grandchildren Andrew and Colin Ferguson, both of Atlanta, Jacob, Jessica, Jenna and Justin, all of Fredericksburg, and Kaylee Horvath of Stafford.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 25, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, with burial at Quantico National Cemetery.
