Holly Ann Jones

Holly was born in Bethlehem, PA to Aline (Haas) Moconyi and Andrew Moconyi Christmas Day 1963. She moved from Pennsylvania to Stafford County after graduating from Freedom High School to pursue a long and fulfilling career in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Her career spanned almost four decades of service. Holly worked tirelessly for the Bureau; receiving multiple awards for her achievements and dedication. While working at the FBI, she made many lifelong friends who became like family to her.

Holly always knew she wanted to have a child and went on to have a son, Zachary, who she always put first even before her own needs. This same love and devotion continued into being the best Oma to her two grandsons.

Holly loved to read; often reading up to five novels per week. She had a passion for travel and shared many great memories traveling with family and friends. She was often the first person to volunteer to visit multiple FBI field offices all over the continental United States to help improve the Bureau.

Holly is lovingly remembered by her father Andrew S. Moconyi; her son and daughter-in-law Zachary and Jessica Jones; her two grandchildren Bradley and Calihan Jones; her brother Michael Moconyi and his wife Diane; her sister Kristine Hudak and her husband Ed; as well as her nephews and niece. She will be joining her mother, Aline Moconyi, in heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00pm Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Rock Hill Pavilion, 228 Rock Hill Church Drive, Stafford, VA 22556. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until service time.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Diabetes Association can be made.
