Helga M. Lorenz

She was born on June 17, 1930 in Germany, the daughter of the late Karl & Pauline (Kaul) Firmbach. When she and her family came to Woodbridge in 1965 she worked as a waitress, and she and her husband cleaned offices in the evening. She was a theater manager for the Roth Company and finally she worked for Prince William County Schools as an aide on Special Needs busses.

Her husband, John Anthony Lorenz preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Danny T. Lorenz and wife Gabriele of Stafford, VA; one daughter, Caroline English and husband Charles of Spotsylvania, VA; four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.

A visitation for Helga will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 11:30 AM, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. An interment will occur Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA.
