She loved birds, lilacs, the fall season, the color green, soap operas and her Garfield Four group. She loved reading, working her crossword puzzles, and spending time with family and lifelong friends who felt like family.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Don), of Woodbridge and her son, John (Debbie), of Stafford.
She had three grandchildren; Heather (Robert) of Woodbridge, Ian Pape of Richmond and Brian Vogt of Stafford.
She leaves behind 4 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Johnson, parents Carl & Arietta Eike of Woodbridge, and siblings; Lee Eike, Barbara Proctor, David Eike and Robert Joseph, who passed in infancy.
Special acknowledgements are given to Don & Terry Mitchem, her niece and nephew, who greatly cared for both Frances and the Eike family. Heartfelt wishes are given on the family’s behalf to her surviving lifelong friends; Pat LePore, Carolyn Hewitt, and Debbie Pacheco, who truly knew and loved her best. Special thanks to Bobby Harvey for lovingly preparing words of comfort during Frances’ memorial service and to Betsy Mallow for beautifully arranging the florals, which Frances always loved.
A graveside service will be held privately at a future date to be determined. Frances remains will be interred at Woodbine Baptist Church cemetery.
