Dwight had been retired after working for a number of years as Membership Director and Managing Director for Member Services at ASEE in Washington, D.C. He enjoyed his work, helping people and traveling. He also loved reading, writing, photography, listening to music, going for walks, watching sports, bowling, trying new restaurants, cooking, and spending time with his daughters.
He was married to the late Mary Elizabeth Wardell and leaves behind, in addition to a host of loving friends, twin daughters, Emily of Washington, D.C., Sarah of Rockville, MD, and his first grandson, Landon Thomas.
He is also survived by his three sisters, Ginny Goin of Westport, WA, Maggie Terry of Prescott, AZ, and Barbara Naddy of San Diego, CA.
Emily and Sarah plan to spread his ashes in the family plot later this Spring, in Brooklyn, NY.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.mullinsthompsonstafford.com for the Wardell family.
