Desiree Humphrey

On August 7th 2021, our beloved family and friend Desiree Humphrey (63) passed away while resting at home. She will be greatly missed by many and the memories we shared will forever be with us. Desiree was born on October 2nd 1957 in Fredericksburg, VA by the late Beatrus V. Humphrey. She grew up in multiple places throughout Virginia, New York, and Washington DC. Desiree was known as the life of the party. She loved to dance and laugh with her loved ones and had an infectious smile that warmed the hearts of others. Desiree took on the role of caregiver during her life and was always a person to count on.

Desiree is survived by her two daughters; Tyece Humphrey and Tatiana Humphrey, Two grandchildren; Jaide Perkins and Laila Perkins, Her sister; Rhonda Alston, Two brothers; Tyrone Humphrey and Rodney Humphrey, Her nieces and nephews; Timothy Hull, Tyreena Humphrey, Beth Alston, Jason Alston, Yasmine Washington, Shantell Lewis, Tyler Humphrey, Terrell Campbell, Samantha Grandson, Sabrina Campbell and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
