David Young

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Young; his children, Denice Young (Christopher Henry),

Joshua Young (Hailie Huppmann), Christopher Young, Patrisha Lachacz (Christopher), Felecia Young, Gabriel Young and Lucas Young; and his grandchildren, Mattea Young, Layla Lachacz, Ryan Lachacz, Nathan Lachacz, Delilah Young, Joshua Young, Gauge Young, Blake Young, Rosaleigh Young, Dalton Young, Alora Dellinger, Grace Young.

David will also be greatly missed by his mother, Shelvy Jean Young, his sisters, Frankie Jean Presnell (Bryan) and Angela Young Ward (Wayne Campbell); his brother, Joel East Young; and several Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Haywood Young; and his sister, Kathy J. Rhinehardt.

David was always a people person, a jokester who could make anyone laugh. He loves his old cars and motorcycles, especially his Indian Cherokee heritage.

David was a hardworking man and retired from VDOT 10/2022 after 39 years of work.

He was a loving husband for 41 years, a Godly Man, a devoted father, and grandfather. His family always came first. He was truly one of kind with a funny personality. No matter what he could always make everyone laugh.

A graveside service for David will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg, VA.
