He is survived by his wife, Kaitlyn Turyana Marshall nee Balsinger; children, William Courtney Marshall and Mya Louise Balsinger; parents, Courtney John Marshall and Cynthia Marie Marshall; brother, Collin Richard Marshall; sister, Taylor Marie Marshall, all from Fayetteville, NC; grandparents, Spencer John Marshall (Orlando, FL), Jane Linda Marshall nee Gilmore (Livingston, NJ), Richard Arthur Greene, and Nelia Greene (Westfield, MA); six uncles and their wives, and 11 cousins.
Cameron grew up in Agawam, MA and graduated high school in 2012 from St. Mary’s High School in Westfield, MA. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army in August of 2012. After basic training and AIT, his first duty station was in Korea, from there he returned to Fort Jackson, SC. He had additional assignments with the 18th Airborne Corps in Fort Bragg, NC, and most recently in the National Capitol Region, which is a part of the Office of Court Administration at the Pentagon. He dutifully served as a hand selected Paralegal NCO and did so with the highest professionalism and excellence.
In addition to loving his military career, Cameron was a huge New England Patriots fan. He liked to play soccer and lacrosse in high school. He loved anything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He loved cars and loved driving fast in his yellow Corvette. Cameron was passionate about cooking and was specifically an avid connoisseur and creator of soups. He made sure everyone knew his mantra regarding his creations, “you gotta let it rest” before enjoying.
Cameron enjoyed reading and having order and organizations with his favorite things in life. He loved his vacations at 4th Cliff in Scitiaute and Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
A funeral service for Cameron will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. Following the funeral service will be a reception at 12:00 PM.
