Bruce graduated from Groveton High School. He played baseball for the Alexandria Dukes. A minor baseball league. He was a dedicated employe for Outback Steakhouse as a Proprietor and Manager for 30 years. Bruce enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and had a passion for culinary arts. He was a sports fanatic when it came to baseball, football, and basketball. But he loved nothing more than his family. He was a craftsman. He was good with his hands and could fix anything, houses, cars, etc. From his daughter Shannon: My Dad was the funniest person I’ve ever met it was literally impossible to be around him for more than 3 minutes without laughing! His famous words were “uhhh What are you doing?” Which if you knew you knew that was his way of saying I love you. I got my work ethic and whitty humor from my dad. And I thank him for that. I am grateful that I finally got to see how amazing of a man and father he was! I love you Dad 💕 Dad, I love you so much, words can’t describe how much I’m missing you. I wish we had more time together but I’ll cherish the time we did have. God had a different plan for you and he was ready to call you home. You will forever live within your love ones. And we will carry you with us through out our lives. I didn’t lose a Father, I gained an Angel! Rest peacefully, Until we meet again! I love you, ~Tiera A visitation for Bruce will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel followed by his celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
