Ann Elizabeth Eckard

Born October 16, 1948 in Manassas, Virginia where she retired from Saylers dental lab.

She moved to Stafford where she became a devoted caregiver to many who loved her. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Edwin (Ted) Eckard. Her daughter Shannon Kent and husband Gary and her two grandsons Alexx and Jacob Kent whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her siblings Angela Roberts, Hazel Grogg, Dale Cornwell and Harold Cornwell as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son Harold Eckard, her parents Brady and Ruby Cornwell and her sister Esther Kirbitz.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 11 am with a funeral service at 12pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service Stafford Chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd. with Rev. Rick Ritchie officiating.

Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Ann Eckard Memorial Fund at any Union First Bank.
