Mrs. MaryAnn Sanchez Cuellar

A native Houstonian, MaryAnn was confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church. She graduated from Jeff Davis High School and attended Modern Beauty College. She was an accomplished hair dresser, homemaker, educator and holiday maven. She assisted her husband in the formation of Alief Little League.

MaryAnn raised three boys before returning to work as a teacher’s aide with special education elementary school students in Alief.

She is a beloved, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend.

MaryAnn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jesse Cuellar, Jr.; her sons, Rodney, Jason & Logan; her sister, Helen Perez; her brother, Pete Sanchez; her niece, Syndy Cave; her daughter-in-law, Stephanie Cuellar and grandchildren Reahna and Phoenix.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Sanjay Sethi and his team at Texas Oncology and Dr. Kamble at Methodist Hospital.
