Marlee Hope Pack

Marlee Hope Pack, 12, of Missouri City, Texas passed away February 23, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 27, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas to Bill and Shelly Pack.

Marlee is survived by her parents, a sister, Meredith Pack, maternal grandmother Sharon Gunter Martin of Mount Pleasant, Texas, paternal grandmother Paula Raley Pack of Monticello, Arkansas, uncles, Les Pack of Monticello, Arkansas, and Jeff Martin (Brittany) of Paris, Texas, cousins MacKenzie Walker and Molly Martin, both of Paris, Texas, and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Larry Dan Martin, paternal grandfather Lester David Pack, Sr. and an uncle, Paul Alston Pack.

Marlee was passionate about life. Whether it was studying sea turtles, practicing archery, caring for her many animals, traveling or just living life to the fullest, she did it all with a smile on her face.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service in Marlee’s honor to be held Monday, March 4, 2019 at Harvest United Methodist Church, 9029 Sienna Ranch Road, Missouri City, Texas 77459. The service will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a reception at the church. Marlee requested that guests wear green, if possible. It was her favorite color!

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to Harvest United Methodist Church in Marlee’s name which will be transferred later to a newly formed foundation, Marlee’s Smile, who’s mission will be to continue to bring a smile to the faces of other children battling cancer, just as Marlee started with her Make-a-Wish in Colorado where she gave bears to other children being treated for cancer. There will also be a link on the church’s website to make donations.
