Mark Christian Hiatt

Mark was born in Moses Lake, Washington to John and Ruth Hiatt on May 24, 1960. He attended Sparta High School in Sparta, Michigan and graduated in 1978. He attended Farris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.

As far back as anyone can recall Mark always had a desire to build. This love for building led him into the world of commercial construction. He started as a laborer and quickly developed his skill as a trade bricklayer. After many years and knowledge gained he moved to a broader scope as a Superintendent. He was proud of his craft and the projects he worked on throughout the Houston area. Mark was proud that one of his projects was recognized and awarded a Golden Trowel award. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Time spent with his children and grandchildren was always a priority. He was always ready to help with a baseball practice or keep score during a game. He loved watching football, working on our home, in his garage and tinkering around on his truck.

Mark is survived by his wife, Dianne Hiatt; children, Carly (Kenan) Yayboke, Kristopher (Ashleigh) Hiatt and Kason Hiatt; brother, Robert Hiatt, sister, Shelly Marshall, grandchildren, Joshua, Addison and Emma Yayboke, and several nieces and nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Hiatt, brother, Christopher Hiatt, brother-in-law, Lee Marshall and sister-in-law, Patsy Hiatt.
