LUPE G. PENA, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011, in Stafford, TX. He was born in Gonzales, TX, on September 25, 1925. Lupe is survived by his beloved wife, Laurentina Saldua Pena; son, Lupe Pena, Jr.; daughters, Gloria Alaniz, Susie Salazar, Estella Cortez, Julie Guerrero; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Sunday, August 28, 2011, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford. Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, August 29, 2011, 10:00 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Missouri City. Rite of Committal: Greenlawn Memorial Park, Rosenberg.
