Kenneth Bowen Gibson

Kenneth (Kenny) Bowen Gibson, born January 12, 1951 in Little Rock, AR., followed the light home on November 21, 2017 at 8:08 in the evening, in Houston, TX. Kenny was wrapped in the arms of love of his wife, his daughters, and his little sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Francis Proctor Gibson, his older sister, Karen Gibson Yammer Davis, and his grandparents, Ovis and Evie Gibson.

Kenny leaves to carrying on his memories, his faithful and loving wife of 36 years, Linda Diane Gibson, his daughter, Amanda Gayle Gibson, Kathryn Elaine Burkhardt (Yammer), David Scott Yammer, Dean Harrison Gibson

and Walter Thatcher V, who are related to him by siblings, but he raised and treated as his own.

He also leaves an older brother, George Ronald and Barbara Gibson, little sister, Susan Fisher, sister-in-law, Delores Gibson, and nieces, Dawn Gibson Bacak and Husband Dwane, and Nicole Gibson.

Services will be held at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home in Stafford, TX. Visiting with the family will be Friday, December 1, 2017, from 5 to 7pm. The celebration of his life will be on Saturday, December 2, 2017, from 10 to 11am.
