Judith’s career path lead her to Imperial Sugar Company in Sugar Land, TX. Her 25 years of dedicated service began on June 25, 1975 – August 1, 2000, within those 25 years, she made many lifelong friendships along the way. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed quilting, baking and spending time with family on picnics at the park. Always in support of the military, it was one of Judy’s life passions was to assist numerous advisory teams with donations and personal supplies during the Vietnam conflict.
Judith is survived by her brothers: William H. and David R. Cottrell of Livonia, MI and her three children: Chery A. (Hodgins) Deleon of Columbus, TX, Gilbert S. Hodgins of Richmond, TX and Carrie L. Fleming of Houston, TX, she had 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other close members of her family, which includes 5 nephews, 7 nieces,
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a memorial service following at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 S. Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477.
Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens in Moundsville W. Virginia will be Judith’s final resting place alongside her parents, grandparents and many other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations to be made in her name to The Special Forces Foundation.
