Juanita was born in Cd. Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico. She was a loving, caring, giving and the most responsible person we knew. In her childhood, she spent a lot of her time with her grandmother and learned the bare necessities of life like how to sew, cook and enjoy life. She enjoyed nature and loved being outside. She also enjoyed playing basketball in her high school years and loved music and dancing. She loved unconditionally and always placed her family first. She married young and spent her life not only caring for her children and grandchildren, but her mother too. Life threw many obstacles at Juanita, but she always figured out a way to keep moving forward. She enjoyed crafting and decorating for weddings and quinceaneras. She was a hard worker and taught us that in life, you must work hard to achieve your goals. Later in life, she met and fell in love again with Roberto. One of the things they enjoyed the most was dancing and spending time with their grandchildren. In the end, our mother left this earth to be with the Lord and her loved ones. She spent her last few days enjoying quality time with us. She made peace with the Lord and had no regrets. She was at ease.
Juanita is survived by her four children, Hector Flores, Italia Fonseca, Eron Flores and Magda Waterman. Son in-laws, Jose Fonseca and Robert Waterman and daughter-in-law, Ana Flores. Juanita had seven grandchildren, Samantha Fonseca, Jose Fonseca, Luis Landin, Alexis Diaz-Waterman, Arlette Herrera Mata, Vivienne Fonseca and Emma Waterman. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Isabel Yanes Chavaria and her father, Magdaleno Alvarado; her sister, Marilu Frausto de Gomez and partner of seventeen years Roberto Gonzalez.
