Proverbs: Chapter 3 Verse 7
Joseph Alexander McQueen, born January 22, 1947 of Missouri City, Texas, went to be with our Lord on November 27, 2024. He lost his battle with kidney disease.
Joseph was one of 3 children born to Dave and Rufie McQueen in Antioch, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 36 years, Loretta; daughter, Patti; grandson, John and most recently his sister, Carol. Joe is survived by his brother David; loving wife Paula; daughters, Donna and Jodi; son-in-laws, Randy, A.J. and Jason; granddaughters, Krystal, Jessi & David, Sarah & Justin, Brie and Allison; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was also loved by Paula’s children; Pam, JoBeth and husband Dale, and Billy; Grandchildren, Cody, Francis, Ivy, Kelly and husband Brock, and Chris; and numerous great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Joe served in the navy for 8 years where he enjoyed flying planes and continued his love for electronics and working on computers. He worked as an analytical engineer his entire career for Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies.
If you knew Joe, then you knew his love for pickin’!!! He had a great love for music and playing guitar with his friends and family. Church meant everything to Joe and being a prayer warrior was very dear to his heart. Joe lived a full life. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He was known for his big heart, selfless giving and generosity.
Joe will go to his final resting place at Morton Cemetery in Richmond, Texas. The family requests that any donations be sent to Sugar Grove Church of Christ Missions.
