Isabel Garcia de Cortez, 76, passed away peacefully in her home on November 1, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 7, 1948, in Padilla, Tamaulipas, Isabel dedicated her life to raising her 6 kids. She was also a catechist for 10 years and loved helping her community in any way possible.
Isabel was passionate about plants and took great pride in taking care of her garden, where she found peace and happiness among her flowers and greenery. Isabel is survived by her son and 4 daughters, Marcos Alberto, Perla Susana, Maria Francisca, Maria del Carmen, and Laura Alicia ,16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Isabel will be remembered for her kindness, her infectious laugh, and her dedication to her family and community. She had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. Her light will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
