Keith was born in Dallas, Texas on June 10, 1946. Keith attended Dallas public schools and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1964. Keith attended the University of Houston and Control Data Institute. He served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Keith spent most of his career in Information Technology as a systems analyst for hospital systems (Sisters of Charity, St. Luke’s, Memorial) and oil and gas systems (Dresser, Brown and Root). Before retiring, Keith worked as an appraiser for Harris County Hospital District. He was an enthusiast for his many interests and hobbies: astronomy, photography, music, politics, and science.
Keith was predeceased by his parents Charles H. Moore and Virginia Maureen Stewart of Dallas and by son, Patrick Mayhan of Houston.
Keith is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gloria Lynn Moore of Missouri City, son Charles Zoghbi and wife Ruby of Sherman, daughter Julia Mayhan Yao of Garland and sister Linda Hinkle (Bob) of Lindsey, Oklahoma. Keith, called Pwa and Paw Paw, is survived by grandchildren Landon Mayhan of Houston, Chloe Lewis (Kelvin McGee) of Missouri City, Iain Robbins of Maryville, TN and Diego Zoghbi of Bogota, Columbia. He is also survived by daughter-in-law Michele Mayhan of Houston, sister and brother-in-law Jan and Michael Zanoff and nephew Jacob Zanoff of Sherwood, Arkansas.
The family would like to thank Houston Methodist Hospital, the J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center and The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center for the excellent and loving care Keith received over the years.
