 He loved to barbecue at thanksgiving and Christmas. My mom and I would bug him until he got the deer sausage done then we would eat until we couldn't eat another bit. We had a lot of good times at his and Mellaine's house over the years.

He always talked about his daughter and Emmy non stop! How beautiful the two are and how happy he was to be her grandpa ❤️❤️

I loved his jokes,he was happy man and even if he didn’t feel good,he put big smile in my face with his funny jokes,
The one I remember he said two guys were sitting in the table and looking over The other table and there was a guy sitting with his donkey next to him ,people will walk up to him to ask what time it is and he would simply left a Donkeys ball and tell him the time and he was accurate every single time ,this two guys were so surprised that how he did that ,so they tried to give it a test so one guy walks up and say what time is it and he tells him the exact time by touching the donkeys ball and he come back to his friend and say he was right Don’t know how he did it the other guy said I’m going to ask so he walks up to him and he say man you’ve been so accurate what is your secret how could you tell the time but just touching your donkeys ball the guy said I don’t have any secret I just lift my donkeys ball and there is a clock right over there so I can read the time .lol

David was a nice man and my daughter, Brooke's,  father in law.  He  always treated her like his own daughter and welcomed us into the family.  Above everything else, David was a PROUD FATHER.  He would tell stories and brag on his kids, Justin and Kendall.  He loved them more than anything and wanted the world to know about their accomplishments.  Just mentioning their names would bring a big smile to David's face.  I know David will be his grandchildren's guardian angel and be proud of them too.  RIP David!

I loved the fact that you're dad was always so nice to me and how he welcomed me into the family with open arms. Also how enteracted with Alexis, Alizabeth and Jr when they were born. We love Uncle David with all our hearts and it broke our hearts when he left us. I am so glad that I got to know him. He wasn't only Chris uncle he was mine to. I call him Uncle David to. When we were all at uncle Roberts and Uncle David was there the kids would rush to hug him. Uncle David would be greatly missed by all of us but now he is everyone's GUARDIAN ANGEL

We will miss you for that smile, coming to work on Fridays wearing your cowboy hat boots and just being yourself, all about being a Texan!
Always willing to be the one to BBQ, smoking and it was yummy.  

David and I crossed paths at work, we knew each other for quite a while then ran into each other at our daughters school, and donuts for dads.  Later, David and I would alternate having lunch with Kendall and Tara in grade school bringing them McDonalds.   This was always one of David's favorite stories, that those 2 girls were always working us, getting one of us to bring them lunch, first David then me, then David again.

I met with David many times in my work.  He would come by to let us know about new components, or because we needed advice on a component.   Usually, he would treat us to lunch when he came by, and we would talk about upcoming projects, and the current market, or latest headlines.  Seldom did he miss mentioning his family.  He was proud of his family.
David had a very good sense of humor, and we were always trying to make each other laugh to lighten the troubles of the day.
I will miss talking to him, and I'm sure many of my coworkers will too.
