Cynthia "Cindy" Louise Phillips (Cox)

We are sad to announce the passing of Cynthia “Cindy” Louise Phillips (Cox), age 70 of Stafford, Texas on November 8, 2023. Cindy was a native Texan, born in Fort Worth, Texas to Joseph Calvin Cox and Frances Marguerite Sherrer (Cox).

She spent the first part of her working life as a, Leasing Agent and Apartment Manager in the Houston, Texas area. After the birth of her last child, she took the position of church secretary for her church, Community Life Church of Missouri City, Texas.

Cindy was an exceptionally caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She never met a stranger and would talk to anyone from a new member at church to someone in the checkout line at the local grocery store. Life to was a quality over quantity and she was a follower of Jesus Christ till he took her home to be with Him.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, William L. Phillips; her daughter, Alison Koteras; her son, Bryce Phillips; her stepdaughter, Evon Hatton; her stepson, Jesse Mason and her granddaughter Emma Koteras. Also her brother, Michael Cox and her sister, Becky O’Brien and many nieces and nephews. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marguerite Cox and her sister, Jamie Klammer.

At a later date, the family will gather for a memorial service to celebrate her life.
