Christopher William Fogarty, 57, a New Jersey native who lived in Fresno, TX, for twelve years, died at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Mr. Fogarty was born June 18, 1957 in Teaneck, NJ and grew up in Bergenfield, NJ.
He was employed in the oil and gas industry in New York City for 20 years previous to moving to Texas to work for Phillips 66. He was Marine Operations Coordinator for Phillips 66 Co. for the Houston Office for the past ten years.
Mr. Fogarty was a parishioner of St. Angela Merici Catholic Parish, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Apostleship of the Sea USA and was an avid reader, loved all types of music and all things nautical.
He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Brenda Denham Fogarty of Fresno, TX; one daughter, Meghan A. Fogarty of Grand Junction, CO; two sisters, Betty Milam of Hayward, CA and Judy Duffy of Vancouver, WA; two nieces and two nephews, two great-nephews and one great-niece.
Mr. Fogarty was preceded in death by his parents, Henrietta and William Fogarty, and his niece, Theresa Ann Milam.
Visitation is Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM Earthman Southwest Funeral Home 12555 S. Kirkwood Road, Stafford, TX. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 PM. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2 PM at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home.
