Ann Osbon

Ann attended College at Northeast Louisiana University. She married Raymond E. Osbon in 1959. They moved many times to other states such as N.C., N.J. and Texas two times, the second in 1972, which is where she resided until 2023. Ann was a housewife and involved in many of her children’s activities. Ann was involved in Church serving as a Sunday School teacher, attending Bible studies, and groups such as Fonteno Senior Center. Ann was involved in the Church Choir and was often the Lead Vocalist.

Ann was an avid reader. She loved to sing, especially Old Hymns. She also love to travel. Ann loved spending time with her family including her seven grandchildren.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, James E. Barfield and Lois Barfield; her sister, Anita Nielsen and her husband, Raymond E. Osbon. She is survived by daughter, Tamara Carrell and husband, Scott Carrell; son, Raymond E. Osbon, Jr. and wife Sandy Osbon and son James D. Osbon and wife, Ellen Osbon. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Zachary Carrell, Caleb Carrell and wife, Presley Lundquist-Carrell, Raymond Osbon and wife, SaCora Osbon, James Osbon, Ryan Osbon, Miriam Osbon and Liam Osbon.

Ann was a supporter of the Houston Food Bank and other charities.
