On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, our beloved Angie passed away at the age of 16. Angie was a loving, kind, bright, beautiful young soul. She never failed to make everyone smile and always ensured to treat everyone with respect and compassion. Our little angel was full of life and continues to be loved by so many. Angela lifted our spirits and filled our lives with laughter and joy. She loved playing with her little niece and nephews. Her laughter was contagious, and she gave the greatest and tightest hugs that made sure you felt loved by her. At such a young age she illuminated the world with her heart. She is and will always be our little mammas, our little angel.
Angie was in the 10th grade and attended Madison High School where she was loved and well known by her friends for being a kindhearted and caring person. Although she was shy, she was part of the Madison Marlin volleyball team. Angie became a member of the Holy Family Church at a very young age. Through her journey as a catholic member, she was able to receive her Baptism and Communion. She was currently in the process of continuing her catholic education to receive her confirmation. Angie aspired to one day teach Sunday school at Holy Family Church. Additionally, she had recently begun to take interest in joining the church choir because she really enjoyed music. She enjoyed music so much; she began to learn how to play the guitar. Angie always carried her cell phone and a set of headphones to listen to music. Her hobbies growing up were drawing, painting, and most recently she enjoyed shopping for stones and makeup. Angie may not be physically here on Earth with us, but her presence lives within us. We have faith that we will see her again when Jesus Christ our Savior returns for his children.
Angie joins her dearest grandfather, Elias Castillo. She is survived by her father, Jorge Martinez and stepmother, Zamaira Pulgarin; raised by her mother, Ana Brown and her stepfather, Gregory Brown; her mother, Martha Gomez; her siblings, Stephanie Martinez, Jorge Martinez, and Vanessa Ascencio; her grandmother, Ana Gloria Gomez; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her dearest cat Soup.
