LENTZ, William James 71, of St. Pete Beach, died Sept 30, 2018. He was born Nov. 1, 1946 in Le Mars, Iowa. Mr. Lentz was an insurance executive for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Detroit, MI. Upon retirement he relocated to St. Pete Beach in 2001. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Starbright; his loving companion, Sara Lentz; stepson, Andrus McDonald; brothers, Charles Lentz (Jane), Walter Lentz (Susan Nixon), Christopher Lentz (Leslie), Thomas Lentz (Barbara); sisters, Susan Brightheart (Michael Mc- Manus) and Mary Lentz (Kelly Murphy). He is predeceased by Audrone Lentz, and sister, Ann Biernacki. Visitation hours are planned for Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, 10-11 am, at Beach Memorial Chapel, 301 Corey Ave., St. Pete Beach, (727) 360-5577. The life celebration service is also scheduled for Friday, Oct 19, and will begin at 11 am. Interment will be in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery, Seminole, FL.
