McGarry, Dr. Nancy Sifford, 91 of St Pete Beach, beloved Mother and Grandmother, Born September 1, 1924, Died November 13, 2015. Retired Associate Vice President of St. Petersburg College ( Resident of St. Petersburg Beach from 1953 to 2015 ). Doctoral Degree in Educational Psychology from Nova University, Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from Sullins College, Masters Degree in Psychology from Northwestern University, member of Gamma Phi Beta. Survived by son Dr. Michael Shawn McGarry of Atlanta, Georgia and his partner Dr. Jr. Gang Cheng, daughter Nancy Leach and son in law Ron Leach of Okeechobee, Florida, son Christopher McGarry of Clearwater, Florida, grandchildren, Dylan Leach of St. Petersburg Beach, Florida, Piper McGarry of Cedar Park, Texas and Chase McGarry of Spring, Texas. Service to be held at Beach Memorial Chapel, 301 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach at 1 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2015. In lieu of flowers, a remembrance gift may be made to Friends of Strays of St. Petersburg, 2911 47th Avenue N. or Brookwood Women's Shelter, 901 7th Avenue S., St Petersburg.
