KAPSAMBELIS, Leslie Wilkes 77, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018. She is survived by her husband, George Kapsambelis; her son, Perry (Melissa) Kapsambelis of Merrimack, NH; her daughter, Niki (David) Adler of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandchildren, Alexis, Olivia, Chloe, and Brady Kapsambelis and Robert and Timothy Adler; her mother-in-law, Helen Kapsambelis; as well as her brother, four sisters, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Dorothy (DeRenne) Wilkes and a sister, Sandra Wilkes. Leslie was born and raised in New England and graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed a lifetime of adventure with her one true love, George. Visitation hours will be held Friday, Sept. 7, from 6-8 pm at Beach Memorial Chapel 301 Corey Ave St. Pete Beach, with the funeral service on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 10 am, at First United Methodist Church, 2728 53rd St. South, Gulfport.
