Jonathan "Jon" H. Brandt

72, of Treasure Island, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2024. Jon was born December 22, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, to Alfred & Charlotte Brandt.

Jon is survived by his significant other of 24 years, Trish Cellamare; daughter, Katherine (Brandt) Grun; son-in-law, Andrew Grun; grandsons William and Charles; sister, Beverly Brandt Wayne and brother-in-law, Peter Wayne.

A proud graduate of University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, Jon began his career as a journalist for the St. Charles Journal moving on to Collins Printing prior to his independent business when he retired. Jon enjoyed playing rugby for the University of Missouri and the St. Louis Bombers.

Taking his love of sports to Florida in 1992, Jon became a Tampa Bay Buccaneer season ticket holder, enjoying several years of tailgate gatherings with friends. He also played countless games of golf as a member of Pasadena Yacht & Country Club and

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 11am at Beach Memorial Chapel, 301 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, FL, 33706. A Celebration Life will immediately follow; location to be announced at a later date.
