Jackson Rees Copeland, age 22, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, surrounded by his family, on his own terms, after a grueling 2+ year battle with leukemia.
His bravery, maturity, sense of humor, and indomitable spirit in the face of his diagnosis and treatment were an inspiration to those around him, and his departure leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
Jackson was an Intelligence Specialist Third Class in the United States Navy Reserve, and a student at St Petersburg College. Jackson was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Faye Copeland, and is survived by his parents, Jeff and Claire, and his brother, Caden.
