Gustav J Klatt

Gustav James Klatt, August 20, 1933 - March 31, 2017. A native of Scotia, New York and Treasure Island, Florida. Gus was a graduate of the class of 1951 at Scotia Glenville High School. He went on to serve in the navy during the Korean War. Upon returning home Gus married the late Sharron Naylor, had two children and started a custom reupholstering business as well as a small real estate holding company. Gus was a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He was an avid bowler and golfer and loved the warmth and sun of Florida. He wintered there, in Treasure Island, for over twenty five years. Gus leaves behind Marie, his loving wife of forty years, five children and their spouses; Tammy, (Mark), Scott, (Laurie), Debra, (John), Ronnie and Kelly, (Mike). He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Scotia, New York at a later date.
