Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 19, 2011. Preceded in death by his first wife, Alma; sister, Adeline Simmel. Survived by loving wife, Shirley; son, David (Tracy); grandsons, D.J. (Shannon) and Jacob; sister, Marge Mielzarek; 4 step-children, Rich, Tom, Shirley, Carolyn; 7 step-grand-children. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Friday, 7/22, at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1801 Lacrosse Ave (corner of Lacrosse and White Bear Ave) St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Forest Lake.
