Preceded in death by his father Steven Robert "Bob" Adams, Sr., and by his mother Sandra Eileen "Sandy" Adams,
Steve was a loyal son who took care of both parents until they died. For his entire life he was a proud resident of the East Side of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Having some success in competitions while on the swim team, he graduated from Saint Paul’s Harding High School in 1980.
Afterward, Steve enjoyed his stint as a Marine; earning medals and badges, and spending time with his comrades in Japan and in San Diego. It was in that time that Steve gathered many stories that he shared for the rest of his life. After an honorable discharge from the Marines, Steve worked for years as an Assistant Manager at the East Side Holiday Station Store on Minnehaha Avenue. He later ended his career having worked for years driving a forklift at Cub Foods in Sun Ray Mall.
In retirement he continued his enjoyment of gardening, music, movies, and video games. After decades of suffering with heart issues, Steve died at home in his bed.
Steve is survived by many friends and a few family members across the country. Steve spent much of his time, while growing up and over his lifetime, with one particular cousin (who also lives on the East Side of Saint Paul). Steve was like an Uncle to that cousin’s children being involved in family activities, special events, and holidays. Steve was a kind soul and he will be greatly missed.
