Sandra Louise Joyce

Sandra was born on December 15, 1944 to Alice and Edward O’Connell in New Richmond, WI. She graduated from New Richmond High School where she was involved in numerous clubs and activities. Sandra moved to St. Paul and married Michael Joyce. Together they raised 4 children on the Eastside of St. Paul. The family owned and operated a home business, Hoagie Badge & Button, for many years. Sandra enthusiastically supported all of her children and grandchildren’s activities throughout the years.

Sandra was preceded in death by loving husband, Michael Joyce; parents, Alice O’Connell Schuldt (Jack Schuldt) and Edward O’Connell; beloved Aunt and Uncle, Lucille and Thomas Rowland.

She is survived by her children: Kimberli (Jeff) Hanson, Gregory Joyce, Julie Joyce, Victoria (Michael) Cernoch; grandchildren: Taylor Hanson, Jordan Joyce, Noah Joyce and Lucy Cernoch; sisters, Barbara (Calvin) Judson and Debbie (Cliff) Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Wulff Funeral Home (1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul, MN) on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm. Burial will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, if you choose to make a donation in Sandra’s name, the family requests they be made to RSI, 2900 Piedmont Ave. Duluth, MN 55811, a non-profit organization providing innovative services to adults, children and families with disabilities in MN since 1978.
